Alabama: Medical Marijuana Update

     There are many things happening over the next few weeks that have the potential to help change the landscape for medical marijuana patients in the state of Alabama.
     On Wednesday, October 6, Lotta Nall, of Alabama Compassionate Care, and Thomas Pearson from Alabama NORML, will be speaking at UAB. Lorretta will speak about the medical marijuana bill and how to get involved in getting it passed, and Thomas will be speaking about marijuana legalization in general and what benefits the state would reap should they ever decide to have a serious conversation about legalization. Ending Alabama's War on Marijuana Consumers: Wednesday, October 6th -- 7-8:30pm Heritage Hall, Room 121 (1401 University Blvd)


Michael Lapihuska will be appearing for a docket call, and Alabama Compassionate Care is asking that everyone who can turn out to come and bring signs suggesting “jury nullification” in Michael’s case.

It will be at the Anniston Courthouse: 25 W 11th St.  Anniston, AL. - Friday October 8th at 9 a.m.

 Homegrown boy and editor of ‘Toke of the Town’ will be our special guest as we discuss the upcoming elections, the statewide media bomb and the Michael Phillips Compassionate Care Act.
